These Terms and Conditions shall apply to the use of the facilities and services provided by Roam Glasgow.
Age Restrictions
Under 18s
Minors cannot stay in shared public dorms. They are only allowed if a private room (or an entire dorm room) is booked exclusively for their family or group, and they must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
Booking & Cancellation
Non-Refundable Rates
Reservation is not transferable and cannot be amended. In the event of a no-show or cancellation, the full cost of your reservation will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking and your reservation will be cancelled. Applies to Non-Refundable Rate & Non-Refundable Bed & Breakfast Rate.
Flexible 1-Day Rates
Credit card provided at the time of booking will be pre-authorized for the deposit amount. Payment will only be processed after the free cancellation period has ended. In case of cancellation within the allowed time frame (as per the cancellation policy), the preauthorization will be released, and no charges will be applied. Cancellation must be received in writing 24 hours prior to check-in time. Any booking amendments must be made at least 24 hours prior to arrival (3 PM, local time, one day prior). Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full amount to the credit card provided at the time of booking, and the reservation will be cancelled. Applies to Standard Rate & Standard Bed & Breakfast Rate.
No Shows
Please note that neglecting to check in before midnight will automatically switch your booking to a no-show. Contact the relevant reception teams for amendments and cancellations, as well as late check-in and arrival times
Payments
Bookings must be made online, and a credit card or cash deposit is required upon arrival to cover potential incidental charges
Check-In Requirements
Check-In/Out Times
Check-in officially opens at 15:00, and check-out must be completed by 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be arranged for an extra fee, depending on availability.
Valid Photo ID
A valid photo ID (e.g., passport, national ID, or driver’s license) is mandatory. Student cards are not accepted.
House Rules
No Alcohol
Alcohol is strictly not allowed on site.
Guest Behaviour
The hostel reserves the right to evict any guest immediately without a refund if their behaviour compromises the comfort, safety, or security of other guests or staff members
